This Privacy Policy explains how Tirwe ("Tirwe", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Tirwe mobile application, related services, user-generated content features, AI-assisted features, support channels, and any related web pages linked from the app.

Tirwe is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By downloading, accessing, or using Tirwe, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not use Tirwe.

1. Who Controls Your Data

The data controller for Tirwe is the operator of Tirwe. If you have any privacy questions, requests, or complaints, you may contact us at tirweinfo@tirwehub.com.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed through:

• Your Tirwe profile and account settings.
• Trips, notes, images, planner content, packing content, feedback, reports, and other user-generated content ("UGC").
• AI features, including phrase assistance, diary polishing, and AI planning tools.
• Recharge and coin balance features where digital items are offered through Apple in-app purchases.
• Safety tools such as reporting, blocking, content review, abuse handling, and account enforcement.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account and Profile Data

• Display name.
• Profile bio.
• Profile image or avatar you choose.
• Internal user identifier generated for your account or device session.
• Login state and settings preferences.

3.2 Travel and Content Data

• Trip titles, destinations, country labels, trip descriptions, tags, cover images, story cards, planner entries, packing entries, and related notes.
• Timeline entries, favorites, block lists, and feedback or report submissions.
• Images you select from your photo library or capture with your camera for trip and planner content.

3.3 AI Feature Data

• Text you type into AI-powered features.
• Voice input you choose to record and convert into text before submission.
• AI prompts, generated suggestions, generated plan drafts, and edited outputs.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data, government identifiers, financial account credentials, or highly confidential information into AI prompts or public content fields unless strictly necessary and lawful.

3.4 Purchase and Balance Data

• Your in-app coin balance.
• Recharge history and usage history inside Tirwe.
• Limited transaction information needed to recognize that an in-app purchase occurred, such as product identifiers, transaction references, and fulfillment state.

Apple processes the payment transaction itself. We do not receive your full payment card number or full Apple billing credentials.

3.5 Device, Technical, and Safety Data

• App version, device type, operating system, and basic diagnostic information.
• Error logs, abuse signals, report history, moderation actions, and records needed to investigate misuse or enforce our rules.
• Timestamps for actions such as purchase events, reports, AI usage limits, and moderation actions.

4. Permissions We Actually Use

Tirwe only requests the permissions that are currently used by the app:

• Camera: so you can capture trip cover images, planner images, and related travel content directly inside the app.
• Photo Library: so you can select existing images for trips, planner items, and profile content.
• Microphone: so you can record voice input for speech-to-text features.
• Speech Recognition: so the app can transcribe your voice into text before sending the text to AI services.

Tirwe does not currently request permissions for location, contacts, calendar, reminders, Bluetooth, health data, tracking, motion, or any other device permissions beyond those listed above.

5. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to:

• Provide the app and core travel-planning functionality.
• Create, display, edit, sync, and store your trips, planner entries, packing data, and related content.
• Operate AI-assisted features you explicitly choose to use.
• Process, verify, and fulfill coin purchases and recharge balances.
• Track daily free AI usage allowances and paid usage access.
• Enable safety and moderation functions such as report, block, hide, review, removal, and enforcement.
• Respond to support requests and feedback submissions.
• Improve security, diagnose issues, prevent fraud, prevent policy violations, and protect users and the service.
• Comply with legal obligations, platform requirements, and lawful requests from public authorities.

6. GDPR Legal Bases

If the GDPR or similar laws apply to you, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide Tirwe, maintain your profile, store your content, honor your settings, and deliver paid digital items.
• Consent: for permissions-based features such as camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition; and where law requires consent for specific processing.
• Legitimate interests: to secure Tirwe, prevent abuse, moderate UGC, investigate reports, maintain service quality, and protect users, Tirwe, and third parties.
• Legal obligation: where we must retain, disclose, or process data to comply with law, regulation, lawful requests, tax requirements, consumer protection requirements, or platform obligations.

7. User-Generated Content, Safety, and Moderation

Tirwe includes UGC features. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, abusive behavior, and misuse. We do not permit users to publish, upload, send, request, or otherwise use Tirwe to create or distribute content involving:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or exploitative material.
• Content intended to shock, disgust, or cause serious discomfort.
• Gambling, betting, lotteries, or unlawful gaming promotion.
• Drugs, illegal substances, drug trafficking, or unlawful drug promotion.
• Political manipulation, extremist messaging, unlawful political propaganda, or discriminatory targeting.
• Discrimination, hate speech, harassment, threats, bullying, or degrading treatment.
• Violence, self-harm encouragement, illegal activity, privacy invasion, or intellectual property infringement.

To help enforce these rules, Tirwe provides report and block tools. When you report content or a user-related item, we may review the relevant content, associated account information, report metadata, timestamps, and related safety records. We may hide, restrict, remove, investigate, preserve, or disclose related information where necessary to enforce our policies or comply with law.

The block function is designed to let you hide content from your own experience. The report function is designed to alert us to suspected objectionable content or misuse for moderation review.

8. Third-Party AI Service - DeepSeek AI

Tirwe uses DeepSeek AI, a third-party artificial intelligence service, to power certain optional features in the app. This section explains what data is sent to DeepSeek AI, how it is used, and your control over this sharing.

8.1 What Data is Sent to DeepSeek AI

When you choose to use the following AI-powered features, your content is transmitted to DeepSeek AI for processing:

• Phrase Helper: The text you type (including voice-transcribed text) is sent to DeepSeek AI to generate polished travel phrase suggestions in different styles and categories.
• Diary Polish: Your diary entry text is sent to DeepSeek AI for editorial enhancement and refinement in your selected style.
• Trip Planner AI: Your destination name, trip preferences (vibe, must-see items), and any additional context you provide are sent to DeepSeek AI to generate personalized activity suggestions.

Important: If you use voice input for AI features, your voice is first transcribed to text locally on your device using Apple's Speech Recognition, and only the resulting text is sent to DeepSeek AI. Your voice recording itself is never sent to DeepSeek AI.

8.2 What Data is NOT Sent to DeepSeek AI

• Your name, user ID, display name, or any personal identification information
• Your location data, GPS coordinates, or device information
• Your profile picture, trip images, or other visual content
• Your coin balance, purchase history, or payment information
• Any content you don't explicitly choose to enhance with AI features
• Content from trips, timeline posts, packing lists, or other areas where AI features are not actively used
• Your voice recordings (only the transcribed text is sent)

8.3 Who is DeepSeek AI

DeepSeek AI is operated by DeepSeek Technology. The data is processed through their API service at api.deepseek.com. DeepSeek AI is a third-party service provider independent from Tirwe.

8.4 How DeepSeek AI Uses Your Data

DeepSeek AI processes your submitted content to generate AI-powered suggestions and returns the results to Tirwe. DeepSeek's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing DeepSeek's privacy policy at https://www.deepseek.com/privacy-policy.

DeepSeek provides security measures and data protection practices comparable to industry standards for AI service providers. We have selected DeepSeek as our AI provider based on their technical capabilities and commitment to data protection.

8.5 Your Permission and Control

• Explicit consent: By using AI features, you explicitly consent to your content being sent to DeepSeek AI as described above.
• Optional features: All AI features are completely optional. You can use all other Tirwe features without ever using AI features.
• Per-use basis: Data is only sent when you actively choose to use an AI feature for specific content.
• No automatic sharing: We never automatically send your data to AI services without your explicit action.
• Usage limits: You control how often you use AI features. Free daily limits and paid usage are tracked locally in Tirwe.

8.6 Data Security for AI Transmission

All data transmitted to DeepSeek AI is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections to protect your content during transmission. We use secure API authentication to ensure only authorized requests are processed.

8.7 Internal Processing of AI Data

Within Tirwe, we may process AI inputs and outputs to:

• Troubleshoot technical failures and improve feature reliability
• Maintain abuse controls and content safety
• Enforce daily usage limits and paid access controls
• Prevent misuse of AI features

8.8 Important Reminder

Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information, government identifiers, financial credentials, health data, passwords, or other confidential information into AI features unless strictly necessary and lawful. Only submit content you are comfortable sharing with a third-party AI service. Remember that AI-generated content should be reviewed before use.

9. In-App Purchases and Coins

In this version of Tirwe, the app may offer digital coins or similar virtual consumables through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases.
• We may receive limited purchase-confirmation data needed to credit your balance and support customer service or fraud prevention.
• We store your coin balance, recharge records, and usage records inside Tirwe.
• Coins are digital items inside the app. They are not bank deposits, are not redeemable for cash, and are not intended to have value outside Tirwe unless required by law.

10. When We Share Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only as necessary with:

• Service providers that support hosting, storage, AI functionality, safety review, security, and technical operations.
• Apple where necessary for in-app purchase fulfillment, App Store distribution, and platform compliance.
• Public authorities, regulators, law enforcement, or courts where required by law or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of Tirwe.
• Professional advisers or transaction counterparties in connection with audits, financing, restructuring, sale, merger, or other corporate transactions, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

11. International Transfers

Tirwe and its providers may process personal data in countries outside your country of residence. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, organizational safeguards, and transfer mechanisms recognized by applicable law.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the services and maintain your account experience.
• Honor recharge balances, purchase support, and abuse-prevention needs.
• Maintain safety, reporting, moderation, and enforcement records.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and dispute-resolution obligations.

We may delete, anonymize, or aggregate data when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

13. Your Rights Under GDPR and Similar Laws

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Request restriction of processing.

15. Adults Only

Tirwe is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer Tirwe to children. If we learn that a person under 18 has used Tirwe in violation of our rules, we may remove the related data and restrict the account or access where appropriate.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by updating the policy inside the app, through an in-app notice, or through another reasonable method. Your continued use of Tirwe after an updated version becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
